Should I get a shade screen or a roller shutter?

Choose a shade/solar screen for sun, heat, glare, and daytime privacy while keeping your view. Choose a roller shutter for security, full blackout, storm protection, and insulation. Many customers use screens on patios and shutters on windows or storefronts — we’ll help you decide in your free quote.

Will a solar screen still let me see outside?

Yes. Our solar screens are designed to cut heat and glare while keeping your outside view — you can choose the mesh opacity that balances shade and visibility for your space.

Are the screens wind-resistant in Vancouver's weather?

Yes. Our exterior screens use zip-track side guides that hold the fabric firmly in wind and rain, so they stay put and stay protected.

Motorized or manual — and do they work with smart home systems?

Both are available. Our motorized screens and shutters run on quiet Somfy motors and operate at the touch of a button or remote, with optional sun/wind sensors and smart-home or schedule control. Manual options are available too.

Are they child- and pet-safe?

Yes. We offer cordless and motorized operation that meets current Canadian child-safety standards for window coverings.
